The Kickstarter campaign is officially underway. It’s taken a while but it’s time to dig deep and try to get this project funded. The goal of 25k covers the production costs, but the grand total (including a professional audio mix, color correction, and hiring a producer) will be almost 65k. I’m looking for benefactors who can help me make this happen. Please check out the page!

This looks really neat. Filmmaker Cyrus Dowlatshahi is making a documentary about life on Chicago’s South Side. He calls it “moving photojournalism,” collecting sketches or vignettes of how people are living. Rather than accepting the media-public’s narrative of the South Side as a sensationalized gangland, Cyrus wants you to meet the people and places so that you can make your own interpretations. Help the project by donating to his Kickstarter.
